These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the operator of Gin Rummy Duels ("Platform", "we", "us", "our").Effective Date: March 2026 · Version 2.0.0
By creating an account or participating in any match, you represent that: (1) You have read and understood these Terms; (2) You agree to be legally bound; (3) You meet all eligibility requirements. You must maintain only one account. Multi-accounting is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination.
You must be at least 18 years of age to access or play Gin Rummy Duels. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement. Access by individuals under 18 is strictly prohibited and we reserve the right to terminate any account found to be in violation.
This Platform uses a verified identity protocol to verify Proof of Personhood. Verification ensures each participant is a unique, real human being. By using this Platform, you consent to the identity verification process. We do not access or store any biometric data — all verification is performed via zero-knowledge cryptographic proofs. A unique, one-way cryptographic identifier is stored solely to prevent duplicate accounts.
Access to Prize features (Pro Duels) is prohibited in jurisdictions where crypto-based prize competitions is not permitted, including but not limited to: China, South Korea,Brazil,Spain,India and any other territory where such activity is illegal under local law. By accessing the Platform, you represent that your use is lawful in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to restrict access based on geographic location at any time.
Strictly prohibited: (1) Cheating — use of bots, automation scripts, or exploits; (2) Collusion — coordinating with other players to fix outcomes; (3) Multi-Accounting — operating more than one account; (4) Fraud or money laundering; (5) Harassment or abusive behaviour; (6) Reverse engineering or tampering with the Platform. Violation results in immediate account termination and may result in forfeiture of any pending balances.
Entry fees are denominated in WLD and locked in an autonomous smart contract escrow on worldchain immediately upon match confirmation. A 3% platform service fee is deducted from the total prize pool. Winners receive 97% of the total pool. Entry fees are non-refundable once a match begins. See the Refund Policy for full details on edge cases. Users are solely responsible for all tax obligations and reporting requirements arising from their participation in matches or receiving any prizes.
Entry fees and prize distributions are managed by autonomous smart contracts deployed on the worldchain network. The Platform Operator does not custody funds, hold private keys, or have the ability to reverse, modify, or intercept any on-chain transaction. Users acknowledge and accept the immutable and final nature of blockchain transactions.
Players are allocated 40 seconds per turn. Exceeding this limit results in automatic forfeiture of the match. If your connection is interrupted, you have until the current turn timer expires to reconnect. Failure to reconnect results in automatic forfeit. Match outcomes recorded on-chain are final and binding.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR LOSSES ARISING FROM SOFTWARE DEFECTS, NETWORK FAILURES, BLOCKCHAIN ISSUES, THIRD-PARTY SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF ENTRY FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE PRECEDING 30 DAYS.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Gin Rummy Duels following notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any change, you must cease playing immediately.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to our support team (support@ginrummyduels.com) for good-faith resolution.These Terms shall be construed in accordance with general principles of international commercial law, without regard to conflicts of law provisions.
